The artwork is a playful and poetic take on semiotics - the origin of signs. It questions signs’ nature as well as the reliability of our


perceptions. The artwork is inspired by Italio Calvino’s novel A Sign in Space (1965) as he brought the character QfwfQ to


a point in contemporary society that is totally devoid of logocentrism, in which the structural and conceptual relationship between


signifier and signified is lost in an utter chaos of meaningless signs.
